Who it is for
- Hair at lightness levels 7–9 when a warm caramel result is desired.
- Colour-treated, bleached and highlighted hair, taking the starting colour and porosity into account.
- Maintaining warm tones between colouring appointments.
- Dry, porous and dull lengths that need softness, smoothness and shine.
The colour effect may be more subtle on natural, uncoloured hair. Very light or porous areas may absorb colour more intensely.
Caramel adds warmth and is not intended to neutralise yellow or orange tones. The mask does not lighten hair: choose a shade that matches your existing lightness level.
Key ingredients
- Squalane and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride soften the lengths and help reduce the feeling of dryness.
- Glycerin, Sodium PCA, trehalose and panthenol help retain moisture and keep hair feeling soft.
- PCA Glyceryl Oleate conditions hair and improves smoothness to the touch.
- Keratin amino acids and arginine complement conditioning care for damaged lengths.
- Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Polyquaternium-10 make detangling easier and help reduce static.
- Amodimethicone and Silicone Quaternium-17 help smooth the hair surface, reduce frizz and enhance shine.
Key benefits
- A warm caramel shade with a golden tone.
- Colour refresh and conditioning care in one product.
- Direct pigments with no developer required.
- Softness and smoothness for dry, porous lengths.
- Shine, reduced frizz and easier detangling.
- A surprise gift with every colour-depositing mask.
Does not lighten hair or lift its lightness level. Results depend on the starting colour, porosity and previous colour treatments.
How to use
- Perform a strand test, especially on bleached hair or hair with uneven porosity.
- Wear gloves. Apply the mask to clean, damp, towel-dried hair.
- Distribute evenly through the lengths and ends.
- Leave on for the time specified by the manufacturer on the current product packaging.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
Do not mix with developer. Avoid contact with eyes. Very light or porous areas may absorb colour more intensely.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Will the mask make my hair lighter?
No. It deposits colour onto your existing base without lightening it. Choose a shade that matches your current lightness level.
Will it neutralise yellow or orange tones?
Caramel is a warm shade. It adds a golden caramel tone and is not intended to create a cool-toned result by neutralising warmth.
Can I use it on natural, uncoloured hair?
A subtle colour effect is possible. Its visibility depends on your starting colour and hair structure. A noticeable caramel result is not guaranteed on dark hair.
How long does the colour last?
Longevity depends on hair porosity and condition, washing frequency and haircare routine. The colour gradually fades with washing and may linger longer on bleached or porous hair.
Will the colour be even from roots to ends?
Differences in the starting colour or porosity may lead to uneven colour uptake. A strand test helps you assess the result before a full application.
Does the formula contain silicones?
Yes. It contains Amodimethicone and Silicone Quaternium-17, conditioning ingredients that support smoothness, shine and easier detangling.
